It was an overcast day and I took advantage of it to sleep off most of the afternoon. Elbek came for his class and brought me beautiful necklace that he said had sent for me by his mother and was made in the Pamir region. I told him I didn't expect any presents for my lessons. Then I watched several documentaries on the Russian channel. Almost finished with “Kitchen Confidential”. No word from the embassy about the meeting at the PedInst and only one phone call from the Indian embassy letting me know my passport was ready for pick up.
